Minnesota has updated its Workers’ Compensation posting to include new language informing employees that certain work-related psychological injuries may qualify for workers’ compensation benefits. The update clarifies that post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) diagnosed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist, as well as psychological injuries that accompany a physical injury, may be eligible for coverage.

Because this is a mandatory notice update issued by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, employers must replace outdated Workers’ Compensation posters to ensure they remain compliant with current state posting requirements.
