California Aerosol Transmissible Diseases Poster

Effective August 5, 2009, the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health introduced the Aerosol Transmissible Disease Standard designed to protect healthcare and other workers exposed from aerosol transmitted diseases.
The Standard was developed to address the various risks involved with such exposure including agents that cause Tuberculosis (TB), measles, pertussis and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Covered also is pandemic influenza including the H1N1 virus commonly known as Swine Flu as well as other airborne infectious disease.
The Aerosol Transmissible Disease Standard Poster was created as additional reinforcement of the rules and regulations relating to the approved Standard and can be used in conjunction with it. This poster may be posted where employees congregate.
