Poster Update Log: Florida & Federal Combination Poster
Overview
Effective September 30, 2025, Florida’s minimum wage will increase to $14.00 per hour. The tipped minimum wage will rise to $10.98 per hour, including tips. Employers must prepare to update payroll systems and ensure all employees are paid correctly beginning September 30, 2025.
In addition, Florida employers are required to update and display the Florida Minimum Wage poster in a conspicuous location accessible to employees.
What Changed
The increase is part of a constitutional amendment approved by Florida voters in 2020, which raises the state’s minimum wage by $1.00 per year until it reaches $15.00 per hour on September 30, 2026.
Employers may continue to take a $3.02 tip credit toward the minimum wage for tipped employees. As a result, the tipped minimum wage will also rise by $1.00 each year until it reaches $11.98 per hour in 2026.
