As mandated by the City of Seattle, Washington Ordinance Number 123698, Employers shall comply to the provisions of the law and give notice that employees are entitled to paid sick time and paid safe time, and display the notice in a conspicuous and accessible place in each establishment where such employees are employed in English and Spanish and any other languages that the Agency determines are needed to notify employees of their rights.
Additionally, on June 3rd, 2014, Mayor Murray signed a new minimum wage ordinance passed by Seattle City Council. Beginning April 1, 2015, the ordinance will increase the minimum wage in the City of Seattle to $15 an hour, phased in over time.
For ease of use, the All In One Poster Company has created a poster with both the Paid Sick Leave and Minimum Wage specifically for employers doing business in the city of Seattle.
